Review: A story that every one loved. Poignant, emotive and captivating. We follow the journey and life of Cyril Avery, an Irish boy left for adoption. As he comes to terms with being a gay man in a country that shuns those that are different, we see him navigate the difficulties of life, love and loss.

Review: This book was first brought up by our waiter at a Korean restaurant we all went to. I pray we never meet that waiter again. This novel was unanimously the worst we have read as a group. A disjointed plot with too many characters and a hapless structure that made opening the book and continuing to read a real chore.

Review: A real page turner with an exceptional ending. A thriller that kept us all engaged and alert. Alicia may have kept quiet for most of the book but when she does start speaking to Theo, things start to become interesting.
